Made in Wymondham
Dear Lovely Archers
The sun is here - beginners and others are asking questions.
I was in the field recently shooting and enjoying the sun, when at the end of my shoot I was asked how I aim my bow. Now, I know, I'm not the best archer but some folk ask me because they see that at least I work hard. This is my response - Pete Talks About Aiming. This film was taken by Nigel, who was willing to share it with the Club on the Wymondham Archers Channel on YouTube. And below you will read that there is more advice and guidance coming in the form of Tournament Classes and What to Expect.
Tournament Classes and What to Expect
We are working on Tournament Classes and What to Expect. Soon we will be announcing dates for those who wish to hone up on some tournament skills, how they are run, what to expect and what to do and not do. Should you wish to take part please keep you eye on our Facebook Page.
Daron has put together a tournaments coaching package to support archers who feel they'd like to do a tournament but also feel that a tournament is quite a big ask. We hope to show you that all is very straightforward and guide those who have never had a go, or would like a refresher with some top tips and encouragement. If you would like to take part please email by clicking on the link here Tournament Classes

Other News and Going's On...
Danny Made a Tool Chest
I said, "Danny you've got a tool chest." Then he got all puffed up, and I said, "No not a 'tall' chest." I know he looks like he's sucking in his tummy but, no, Danny is as fit as a Butchers Dog, barks like a butchers dog, and is very fond of lamp posts. He also won the Wymondham Archers Triggers Broom Award in 2018, for changing the greatest number of parts on his bow. Don't you just love him. Go on be like Danny - Puff up your chest with great ideas
Those Lost Arrows and Where to Put Them (Behave, I know what you're thinking)
If you happen to be looking for one of your arrows and most annoyingly you find somebody elses, who doesn't happen to be shooting that day, please can you put it safely in the corner of the shooting shed under the window and to the left of the door. If you stand it up in ther corner we are sure it'll be picked up soonish.
Everyday there is somebody on the Range
Everyday there are people on the range. It's fabulous to see so many of you enjoying the space. Wymondham Rugby Football Club are reporting good use of the restaurant and cafe facilities also. This picture was taken on a Friday morning with Rob, Jack and Nigel; hard at practice.
Happy Shooting
