That Field 252s and some Racking

Dear Lovely Archers,

We always have heaps of news to share with you. This week, we are still asking you to keep a look out for a possible hall for Winter. We have a plan B, in sharing a hall with our partners in Archery City of Norwich Archers. But I'm guessing that most of you would like to shoot in and around Wymondham. If you find somewhere, please ask them if we from Wymondham Archers have spoken to them before. We have already reviewed close to 30 venues without success, so far. As soon as you find somewhere we will research it immediately.

That Field...

As you will have noted the bosses have been moved over to the Western perimeter fence side of the range. We are donig this to look after the newly planted grass. Please keep on this side until the eastern side of the range hardens up a little.

252's

We all seem to love the 252 Scheme. This year we have have archers tell us that they want to start again, or at least repeat what they did last year. Here are a few of our recent recipients; and well done all. This first one of Matt making short work of his first 252. Great work. Matt makes short work of his 252

Here we have Lee and Chris making their way up the field with their 252's.

And a big thanks Go to Kev, who made and fitted our very first bow rack inside the shooting shed. Perfect uses of planed timber and overflow pipe. Fabulous work Kev.

Beginners Courses and New Members

We are hosting a new beginners course starting last Saturday. Our two new beginners having a super time getting to grips with Archery and our facilities. The previous two beginners both decided to join us following their course. And we welcome Jack and Andrew. Finally next week from Monday 20th May we begin one of our in-week beginners courses with a single participant. All exciting stuff, and we are always endebted to Daron and Peter A, for their ever present support in coaching beginners for our club. Thank you.

The weather looks like it's going to improve over the forthcoming weeks. Let's stay positive and get some rays. Please remember to use plenty of sunscreen and drink enough water to keep yourselves hydrated. Monday is good but Wednesday is getting better. Here's a snippet from the BBC Weather forecast for Wymondham, Norfolk. Wednesday: Sunny. Max 17°C, min 8°C. Wind 11mph NW. BBC Weather

Happy Shooting
