Team work tournaments and tea (Well... Lunch actually)
Dear Lovely Archers,
We have had such a busy week at the Archery Range and at Wymondham Rugby Football Club and we have other fabulous events on the way.
Our World Archery Weekend Tournament 22nd and 23rd June 2019
After taking over the entire field in front of the terrace at our favourite place to shoot, we had some superb archers come along and join us for two days. But that really was just the tip of the iceberg as many of our club members spent much of their own time and energy making the event run as smoothly as it did. Wymondham Archers thanks all the field workers and supporters for their mammoth efforts. None of this would have happened if it weren't for them. From our Tournaments Officers who collected all the information, processed the applications and passed on the shooting fees to our Treasurer who processed them all. To those who put together bosses, set up the field, ensured folk were welcomed, ran up and down the field collecting scores, pinned down bosses, changed faces and so many more duties that were done on the day. Wymondham Archers thanks you all. And I too wish to express my sincere appreciation and thanks. I feel rather blessed to be part of such a fabulous team - Thank you. Chair

Our Club Lunch - Saturday 6th July 2019
The wonderful Jo, has arranged a Club Lunch for us all on the above date. We are already busy taking names each week for this as many of you have already joined in and are coming along. Please find Jo, or one of the committee on the field prior to Saturday 6th July. Last places will be taken on the Wednesday before - so our chef can source and prepare our lunches. We are excited to be able to share a meal together after our session next week. If you have not yet booked a place please dig around in that quiver and find the £5 for the cost of the meal. We look forward to seeing you there.

The WA 300 Club still needs your support
As many of you will know, we are striving to raise funds for our Winter Indoor season. One of our members has come up with the idea of a 300 club that could support our future. It all works very simply and you can find all the details on our website - just click on the link here, where you can navigate to what it is and how you can apply to join in. Many Archers have already applied. And all the funds go towards funding our indoor shooting, once the prizes have been awarded. We are truly hoping that we can all pull together to make this work for Wymondham Archers.
